On April 25, 2025, the inaugural Great Wall Culture and Tourism Integration Development Conference commenced grandly in Qian'an City, Hebei Province. During the key project signing ceremony held at the opening event, ZEHO ECO and Yanshan (Hebei) Cultural Tourism Development Group Co., Ltd. (Yanshan Cultural Tourism Group) inked a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties plan to jointly establish an ecological-cultural tourism joint venture and invest approximately 2 billion yuan over the next 2–3 years in Qian'an City's ecological restoration, cultural-tourism integration development, and Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) accounting demonstration projects. This collaboration aims to accelerate Qian'an’s strategic transition from a "steel city" to a national model of ecological civilization.

Under the agreement, leveraging Qian'an’s superior geographic location, rich cultural heritage, and high-quality natural resources, as well as ZEHO ECO's expertise in "ecology + cultural tourism" and its integrated industry chain capabilities, the partnership will focus on three key objectives:

1. Establish an Ecological-Cultural Tourism Joint Venture: Through ecological restoration, tourism development, and infrastructure upgrades along the "Two Belts and One Corridor" (Great Wall Cultural Belt, Luanhe Ecological Belt, and Qinglong River Landscape Corridor), the venture will connect a 120-kilometer scenic economic corridor.

2. Launch the Qian'an Ecological Restoration and GEP Accounting Technology Center: Co-founded by ZEHO ECO's State Key Laboratory of Urban and Regional Ecology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, and Qian'an's government platform company, this center will create a provincial-level demonstration platform for county-wide ecological value accounting in Hebei.

3. Pioneer an Innovative Cooperation Model: Combining "ecological asset management + cultural tourism development + urban-rural synergy," the partners will develop an ecological-cultural tourism demonstration zone along the Luanhe No.1 Highway.

The signing of this strategic agreement marks a significant milestone in ZEHO ECO's implementation of its core strategy: "Steadfast development of ecological environments, upgraded waterfront public spaces and cultural tourism, and proactive expansion into AI."

Since 2024, the company has continued its strategic business upgrades, building on its existing environmental governance expertise to prioritize eco-friendly water infrastructure and strengthen watershed management capabilities. It has also expanded into urban waterfront public spaces and cultural tourism operations, helping clients revitalize existing assets by transforming ecological resources into public services and tourism-driven consumer experiences. Concurrently, ZEHO ECO is actively investing in AI-powered solutions, offering systemic "technology + design + construction + operations + commercial" strategies to advance sustainable human-nature coexistence.

Urban Waterfront Hubs and Cultural Tourism Operations focusing on sustainable operations, ZEHO ECO addresses local governments’ needs to revitalize underutilized assets. By leveraging its creative planning and product design teams, the company crafts culturally resonant narratives, develops IP-themed commercial projects, and designs immersive performance experiences. This shifts its business model from EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) to EPCO (adding Operations), while broadening its client base from government-centric (toG) to include end consumers (toC). Currently, this business is expanding, with plans to pilot cultural tourism operations in Haidian, Chaoyang, Qian'an, and Cangzhou, exploring replicable, scalable, and sustainable models.

By integrating ecological quality enhancement, GEP value accounting, and eco-tourism management, the company aims to unlock urban resource potential, invigorate the ecological-cultural tourism industry, and unleash consumer market vitality.
